Beautiful Worship {Inspiring Women}

Hi friends! For the months of May/June, we will be using a reading plan given to us by Sweet to the Soul Ministries. Feel free to stroll through their Facebook page and blog. They even have a journaling kit and Bible study for this month’s plan!

Today, I want to talk with you about worship. Worship is such an important part of our lives. God designed it to be this way. Before we can reach a place of inspiring others, we have to meet our Savior Jesus Christ for ourselves. We have to exit the spotlight, and sit at the feet of Jesus. Let’s read today’s passage, shall we?

Know this: God is God, and God, God. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep. Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him (Ps. 100:3-4, MSG).

We need to fully live in the reality that there is a God. Not only is there one magnificent God, He cares deeply for you. He is madly in love with you. He created you, but that isn’t the end of our love story with our gracious God.

In order to worship God, we need to meet Jesus. We need to draw near to Jesus Christ and spend time with only Him.

One-on-One time with Jesus Christ is what we need the most. We need to sit down with our Bibles and hearts open, and be ready to receive whatever God is going to give us.

Gaining more intimate One-on-One time with my loving Savior – is something that has definitely been on my heart lately. While this world can breed fear in our hearts, Jesus wants to give us His peace. We need to remember our deep need for our Deliverer.

We may be facing a multitude of messes in our lives right now, but God is far more powerful. We can say the sweet name “Jesus,” and be given a whole new perspective. Jeremiah reminds us that when we seek after Jesus, we find Him (see Jeremiah 29:13).

When we worship God for who He is, we are inviting the Holy Spirit to guide us through our lives. The best part of this is – everything else can fade into the background if we allow it.

We can be filled with the Holy Spirit, and find an abundance of peace in our circumstances. The circumstances may not have changed, but God is changing us and placing His power upon our lives.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14:27, NIV).

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 5:18-20).

Friends, we are invited to worship our great God who has reconciled us through His Son Jesus Christ. May we joyfully come.

In Christ,

    That was beautiful Stacey. The more we reach out to Him in love and Praise for Who He is and all He has, and is doing in our lives it makes a huge difference! What a wonderful God who is always there just reaching out in love to each of us. Good way to start out my day! Blessings!
