For the month of October, I am joining many bloggers in a challenge to write every single day for 31 days. I learned about this challenge through another challenge I participate in most weeks. The “Five Minute Friday” challenge is going to expand to last the whole month! Each entry, will be five minutes unedited of writing on a particular theme – found on Kate’s blog.Today’s theme is “storm.”
What do you do in the midst of a hardcore storm?
You grab a rain coat, and learn to dance in the middle of it.
Some of the best dances we could ever muster up the courage to dancing, are in the rain.
Just a few words to describe the decision to find fuel and make the most of opportunities given, God gives us bravery like this. He gives us what we need to fight our battles. We may not think so – in the middle of them.
Then, one day…
It dawns on us that God can use anything – even an ugly storm, to bring about His will, demonstrate His purpose, and fill the world with His unending hope.
God can use our storms.
God can give us the strength we need.
God can help us fight like we have never fought before.
The Hardest of Fights
The hardest of fights, God can get us through – like nothing we have ever seen before.
When we choose to trust in God and give Him our troubles, He can do things that we have never seen before. This is where the truth of Ephesians 3:20 come into full effect in our lives. Not merely words. They are truth to live by.
These things are far greater than anything we could ever imagine. We just need to trust Him and stay faithful in the storm.
Keep seeking God in the midst of your storm.
