My Dearest Child – Philippians 2:1-5, 13-15

Sometimes during my quiet times, I like to write out God’s Word. Just write it out on a sheet of paper, and allow God to speak to me that particular way. This is perhaps the most powerful thing I have read in a while, and it is a passage of Scripture that I have read more than once or twice. But, it holds power. How much differently it is when we allow His Spirit to lead us, and to draw us into the revelation that it is His love letter to us – His dearly loved children!

My dearest child,

If there is any encouragement in Me, if any consolation in love,
if any fellowship with My Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill
My joy by thinking the same way, having the same love,
sharing the same feelings, focusing on one goal.

Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility –
consider others more important than yourselves.

Everyone should look out not only for his own interests,
but also for the interests of others.

Make your own attitude that of Me. (Phil. 2:1-5)

For it is Me who is working in you, enabling you to both – to
desire and to work out My good purpose.

Do everything without grumbling and arguing, so that you may be
blameless and pure, My children. . .  who are faultless in a
crooked and perverted generation, among whom you
shine like stars in the world. (Phil. 2:13-15)

Signed by God,
through His Awesome Word.
