Chronic Illness

“Hope for the Hard Days” Review

hope 4 the hard daysRachel, of Cranberry Tea time, has given me the privilege to have a pre-released copy of her newest ebook Hope for the Hard Days. It is available to anyone who wants a free copy of this blessed devotional, and can be “picked up” on her website.

Today is its big release day – so no need to wait for it to come out!
Awesome, right?!?!?

“Hope for the Hard Days” is a timely study. You can expect to be gently, lovingly restored by God and your Creator through this resource. It is a 30 day devotional for the tired and weary. When you have chronic illness, this is the style devotional you want to have nearby. In each day devotion, you can expect to find and be blessed by:

  • The sharing of a Scripture
  • A short devotion section that will encourage and challenge you (in the best way)
  • A prayer to help you connect the devotion to your life
  • Finally, there is a “further study” section. It gives you a suggested passage to read to go deeper into the topic of that particular day’s devotion.

I really love this new study by Rachel. With Dysautonomia and other health problems, I may want (and need) to study the Word… but being able to have the energy to pull out a deeper study – is likely out of my reach. I don’t have the strength to do much of anything, much less have a deep study time (though my spirit desperately seeks it). Let me say this one thing: This study is perfect for those days. Days like today where my body is knocked down. Knocked down, but needing to be reminded of God’s Awesome Eternal truth that doesn’t depend on my circumstances. <3 I hope you love her new study, as much as I am.

About the Author of Hope for the Hard Days: Rachel is a gem, being used to impact others’ for Jesus Christ – despite the circumstances she may find herself in. This is her second eBook to be released, and free of cost to any who may need the encouragement (and to be honest, we all do). Her first eBook “Chronic Illness and Friendship” is available now.
