Journal: He Will Not Let You Fall

Even on the difficult days, we can have such assurance. He will not allow our foot to slip. He is our Protector. He is good. Though we may find ourselves in less than appealing circumstances, we can trust that God is our ultimate Protector. As we face troubles, remind yourself of this important truth.

“He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.” – Psalm 121:3

As I write this, I sit in my favorite part of a church service. I love the music. I love to lift my voice and give praise to the Father. Yet today, I struggle with the need to remain sitting and conserve energy to focus on breathing with more ease than difficulties. God knows. This is just a different way to praise Him. I am so thankful He is speaking tenderly to my struggling heart. He will not give up on me – regardless of what the outward circumstances may try to convey. He is God! He is good! Praise Him today. In whatever circumstances you find yourself, He is working on your behalf and protecting you. You may not see how He is acting as your Protector, but trust that He is. He never stops protecting us!
