God Can Use Anyone – Even Me

Amazing how God will use whoever to speak the Words He wants us to hear. The question is: Will we listen?

Do I believe these words? Do I firmly believe God can use whomever He wants, to deliver His message? Do I really believe that? Do I believe God’s opinion is far more important than my own or others? When God calls us to step up to the plate, will we allow our thoughts to be consumed with all the ways we differ from all those past players on God’s team. I mean – our form is different; our abilities and experiences are different; There is much that we can do to compare ourselves to others.

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people,
but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not
be Christ’s servant. – Galatians 1:10

We have to choose God over everything else.

But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom
you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served
beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land
you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.
– Joshua 24:15

When God calls us to step up to the plate, what will we do? How will we respond? We need to prayerfully seek God’s Will for our lives. Does the opportunity excite us? Does it answer our hearts’ desire to grow and see others grow in Him? My prayer lately has been for a spiritual fire in the lives I know. And, I am getting to see that prayer come to life. My job is to be obedient. Go, when God says “Go”. And stay, when God says “Wait on Me”.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
– Matthew 28:19-20

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD. – Psalm 27:14
