Prayer: Wash Over My Wounds

“Lord, please touch me and wash over my wounds with Your Word.
I need healing, and only You can give it to me.
I ask these things in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.”

He heals the brokenhearted, and bandages their wounds
. – Psalm 147:3 (emphasis mine)

The Message shares Ephesians 5:25b – 27 wonderfully:

“Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty.
Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her,
dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness.”

Are we allow Christ’s love to wash over us? To cleanse us? Are we pursuing Christ? “Everything He does and says is designed to bring the best out of her”.
